Industrial Sewing Operative - Full time, permanent.

What to expect:

Do you enjoy working with your hands to make tangible products, do you have an eye for detail? Put your strengths to work as a sewing machine operator with our company.

You will work as part of a team producing harnesses and slings, in addition to operating machinery, you will learn to inspect, and repair finished products as needed. Full training and development will be provided.

Salary - £11.50/hr

Work schedule - 37.5 hrs per week, Monday to Friday day shift.

Location - on-site. Ystad Ddiwydiannol Y Glyn, Llanberis, Caernarfon LL55 4EL

Key duties and responsibilities:

  • Operate an industrial sewing machine to produce high quality harnesses and slings to the company’s specifications and standards.
  • Adhere to health and safety requirements.
  • Achieve output targets while always maintaining quality.
  • Ensure that your machine is kept in a clean condition.
  • Undertake other appropriate duties when required to do so.

Essential skills/traits:

  • Hardworking with a positive, can-do attitude and a willingness to learn.
  • Adaptability to change and willingness to undertake training across multiple product lines.
  • Excellent attention to detail and concern for quality. Good team player.

Desirable skills/traits (training will be provided):

  • Be able to change machine jigs and adjust the stitch tension for numerous product specifications.
  • Some experience with machine operation in a factory setting.

Customer Services Advisor - Full time, permanent

What to expect:

Working within the busy sales and marketing team, the successful applicant will be the main point of contact for after sales care and customer support. This will include technical product queries, warranty claims, handling our cam repair and re-sling service, supporting end users and trade customers, and liaising with the quality and sales teams on product or service matters as required.

Salary - £22,500.00-£23,000.00 per year depending on experience

Work schedule - 37.5 hrs per week, Monday to Friday day shift.

Location - on-site. Based in our sales and marketing office at the Cibyn Industrial Estate.

Key duties and responsibilities:

  • Supporting our world class products with world class customer service levels to our customers around the world.
  • Responding to inbound customer emails and phone calls relating to product or service issues.
  • Provide technical guidance on our products with the support of the quality/design team.
  • Oversight of the DMM repair and re-slinging service
  • Handling, investigating and resolving warranty claims
  • Presenting relevant customer feedback to the quality/sales/admin/product teams.
  • Any other admin duties as required.

Essential:

  • Great customer service standards.
  • Organised, accurate and efficient working practices.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with a high level of interpersonal skills.
  • Aptitude to follow processes and procedures accurately.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritise and meet deadlines.

Desirable:

  • Good computer literacy including MS Office and competent numerical skills.
  • A good working knowledge of our product range and the markets in which we operate.
  • Previous experience of working in the outdoor or work at trade either in retail or with a brand.
  • GCSE or equivalent, 1 year customer service experience.

CNC Operator - Full-time, permanent

What to expect:

Do you enjoy working with your hands to make tangible products, do you have an eye for detail? In this role you'd be producing machined parts by operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machines.

Salary - £22,425.00-£22,913.00 per year

Work schedule - Night shift, 37.5 hrs per week, Monday to Friday.

Location - on-site. Ystad Ddiwydiannol Y Glyn, Llanberis, Caernarfon LL55 4EL

Key duties and responsibilities:
• Operate Vertical and Horizontal CNC machines, including CNC Palletech loader.
• Use precision instruments I.e., Micrometres, Vernier Callipers and a range of Gauges I.e., Slips, Plug and Thread gauges.
• Complete all documentation on time.
• Carry out basic maintenance and housekeeping duties.
• Carry out inspection checks on produced batches. (I.e. check operators work).

Essential skills/traits:

  • Methodical and meticulous in approach.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Practical problem solving.
  • An effective communicator and a good team player.
  • Conscientious and has a self-disciplined approach.
  • Excellent time management and multi- tasking skills.
  • Computer literate.

Desirable skills/traits:

  • Education - GCSE or equivalent.
  • Engineering related qualifications.
