Dynatec has several advantages over traditional nylon webbing. It has a higher strength-to-weight ratio, is less susceptible to UV degradation and has greater abrasion resistance, making Dynatec an ideal material for creating lightweight quickdraws.

It also absorbs less water than nylon – an important consideration for winter climbing. The sling's slim profile allows it to be used for narrow threads and to sit better on marginal spike placements.

Great for threads

These are great for threads and I always have a couple of 120cm on my harness. Not as good for slingdraws I much prefer the thinner 8mm ones for them.

Best all rounder

I love the 11mm DMM Dynatec slings. They're lightweight and versatile. Skinny without compromising strength. What more can you ask for? I have used them in my alpine/sling draws and I regularly use them for building belay anchors too. Fantastic kit!
