Hitch Climber Eccentric

High performance geometry.

The Hitch Climber Eccentric is an evolution of the classic Triple Attachment Pulley that became widely known as the ‘Hitch Climber’. The design improvements are the result of over a decade of Hitch Climber design and manufacturing expertise, together with feedback from climbers.

The new geometry offers greater efficiency combined with a striking aesthetic. The ‘pushing plates’ will advance your friction hitch earlier and the optimised fairlead flares direct rope towards the sheave when tending slack.

Also features a large sheave with an efficient roller bearing and a stainless steel axle. Patent pending.

Hitch climber eccentric

I bought this pulley to have on my second rope system when doing tree work to use with a prusik and wow does it work! I find in the configuration of hitch climber and VT or something similar this works so effortlessly when ascending and descending!

When I feel this pulley comes into play is out on a limb, when you’re not fully weighting your rope and you need to tend slack, this pulley tends the prusik with ease and doesn’t bunch the rope leaving slack in the system when you need it to be tight with every move coming back in off a limb.
