Nylon 16mm

£8.99

Workhorse slings.

Nylon slings are wider and heavier than Dynatec for the same strength rating. However, it is a good all-round material that withstands repeated flexing better than Dynatec, has greater shock absorption, is less expensive and has a higher melting point. This makes nylon slings appropriate for heavy use or where weight isn't a prime consideration.

Strong and supple

I appreciate that most of the climbing world is moving to the lighter weight Dyneema slings, myself included. But I still regularly use my 240cm DMM Nylon slings for building belays and there is always at least two on my harness. I wouldn't climb without them. The physical size of it is very confidence inspiring, not to mention still being comfortably light weight. I love mine and will replace them with Nylon slings when they're past their best.
