Lightweight and functional

A lightweight axe that is still big enough and heavy enough to be useful. Becoming my go to axe for mountaineering.

Light weight, well balanced and robust.

Great piece of kit - light, robust, well made and T rated. What’s not to love…

Hi JP - just a quick note, the Spire Tech is not T rated. For a T rated versatile axe, check out the Vertex. Thanks!

NIce and light

I specifically bought this as a lightweight axe for the Alps for doing straightforward glacier and ridge work. In the Alps, I think that every ounce matters. It fits the bill perfectly. I moslty use the shaft, but the pick works fine too. Have used on routes up to AD. I like it.
