FEATURES

All-round carabiner for versatility

All-round carabiners can be used across trad, sport, or winter climbing. They are full sized for ease of handling, while I-Beam construction and wire gates keep weight low. If you want one type of carabiner to cover all your climbing needs, you need an all-rounder.

Wire gate for maximum weight saving

Wire gates are the lightest gate type available, and resist freezing shut in cold conditions. They are crucial in reducing the weight of your rack, and are ideal for trad, winter, and alpine climbing.

Small gate notch reduces snagging

Carabiners with wire gates need a gate notch to achieve their full strength rating. The notches on these carabiners are as small as possible while remaining functional, reducing the chance of them snagging on other equipment.

I-Beam construction for optimum strength to weight ratio

I-Beam construction techniques allow carabiners to be lighter without compromising strength. This is achieved through hot forging, a process which allows metal to be made into complex shapes that improve functionality.

Available in multiple colours for efficient gear selection

Coloured carabiners allow colour coding of gear on your rack, helping you select the right piece of protection first time on a big trad lead.

Go to snapgate for every occasion

Absolutely, hands down, my favourite snapgate if it's possible to have a favourite. Beautifully crafted, smooth gate action, lightweight. I've used mine for making alpine/sling draws and they are honestly perfect. Forever on my rack!

The basis of my rack

Absolute workhorse carabiners, taken countless whips over the years on these exact biners and have never had any issues.
Much prefer the hook nose for racking my nuts. Tried clean nose and ended up dropping some so immediately went back to my originals.

Cannot recommend highly enough. Do the job and are built to last; very light too.

Good Size

My favorite snap gates for quickdraws and slings. just a little bit bigger than the phantoms but so much easier to use, especially wearing gloves.

Color Matching and Contouring are prime

I enjoy the colors and the colors matching my cams. I prefer these DMM carabiners because of their contouring. I don't notice weight because I'm not a professional climber, but it is so nice to look down, pick a color, and know what I'm getting. I think everyone can appreciate that when trying to get gear into the wall.
